Hello TheCatamites, i am contacting you through the comment page due to being unable to find an email associated with you.
I'm a big fan of Anthology of the Killer and I am interested in creating an Android port/mod, specifically for low spec, android TV boxes, mostly just for fun really. I was wondering if you might be open to sharing the unity source project to make this possible?
I respect your work and will credit you fully while not forcing myself into said credits.
I really want the game's movie style posters, I think I'm gonna get some printed. If I do, do you want copies? I'd print extras and send them. Also, what's the highest quality version of those images I could use?
I'm making a steam event, called "The fun, The dark and The cozy" and I'm trying to contact the catamites so that we could promote the game, is there a way to contact you?
Hi Catamites! Uhh I remember you suggesting I play something of yours with a personal note, and I'm looking and I can't find it It's been a hell of a year. My contact info is on zelda.zone couldn't find any social media or whatever but happy to hear from you again! I'm getting back to streaming and planning to check out your stuff again! I think I was Zelda by the time you reached out, but I used to have a different name with Tap-Tap in it.
One of the best games I've played! I adore the art style and writing so much!! I think their should be an amendment to the constitution declaring every citizen should own at least two copies of this game under threat of execution.
I've been working through the Anthology and finding myself repeatedly enchanted by your witty, odd prose, your iconic visual style, and the beauty of watching the game's scope continue to grow and change with each entry. You are an inspiration, an auteur, and an icon of indie gaming.
Hey, I launched the game on windows steam deck but the text at the bottom and at the top seems to be cut off. I tried full screen and windowed and windowed mode was actually worse, even more text was cut off. Throwing a random guess, it might be because the game renders at 16/9 ratio but since the steam deck is 1280x800, it does not render the game at 1280x720 but 1400 or something more x800, and only render the center, not the additional pixels that don't fit the screen. Is there a solution to the issue? Thank you in advance!
Hard to overstate just how much this game means to me, probably top 5 favorite game for me if we’re counting (we’re not). So much art now (especially movies) are trying to capture the zeitgeist of “how it is” now but I don’t think the horror of living through whatever we’re living through now has ever hit me as hard as playing through the last game in this anthology (maybe Twin Peaks The Return gets close, but it doesn’t have an epilogue like this).
Have been a seriously annoying advocate to my friends for all your games since playing Space Funeral and this is GOTY 2024. Thank you Mr Mites
playing this game felt like sitting with the funniest kid in the lunchroom. i felt so enchanted & delighted & taken care of, even as i'm taken through a violent wonderland. gorgeous, hilarious & brilliant.
This was sooo good, BB is my girl for life I love her so much!! I did find the gameplay a little clunky but it's kind of part of it??? Idk listen I'll play anything to experience this world and these characters. I am impressed with this game's incredibly good atmosphere, I was so on edge and drawn into the creepy settings. Very funny and compelling throughout, though I do feel like I haven't fully connected the dots yet to understand the overall narrative but also maybe it's just mysterious...whatever it is it is LOVELY. Drool is my favourite episode but any time with BB is appreciated <3
Been a fan since Space Funeral and I always love to see more of your work!!!
The 90s had Ghost World, the 00's had Scott Pilgrim, the 10s had Night in the Woods, and now we've got Of the Killer for the 20s even though it's the obscurest of them all.
The game captures the modern condition brilliantly. Every episode feels like an allegory of how we try to survive the absurdities of the modern world without ceasing to be human.
Some people are literally turning into monsters but you can still chat with them about music and stuff. It's about being young and naive but not expecting much. It's about searching for the meaning of meaninglessness among tragically amusing ruins of other people's failed passion projects, million dollar modern art masterpieces that look like a kid's doodles, and remnants of B-list pop culture phenomena from decades ago that you have an unexplainable emotional attachement to.
A 10/10 veritable modern classic. Polar opposite of soulless corporate crap.
Game of the year. Game of the decade. Game of the century. Game that will eclipse all of known history, relating to electronic entertainment or otherwise. GOD I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!
this is absolutely incredible, i played it all today and adored every moment. i do have one question about a minor detail i noticed, what's with all the Esperanto references? i figured you might have an interesting reason behind it
thank you! and yes, the esperanto thing comes from the history of the ESP-Disk music label - as the name suggests, it was initially founded to promote esperanto but became one of the most prominent early free jazz / experimental music labels from there. the label itself makes a cameo in Ears Of The Killer but i also just liked the idea of esperanto as a secret connecting sign of a new world that never quite arrived.
this game came to me at a difficult time in my life and it’s really helped me through it in a weird way. Sometimes i say “i’m gonna go hang out with bb” before i turn on the game

I marathoned(?) this yesterday and it was hella rad, extremely good experience <3
9.3/10 orange simulacrum (I fell out of bounds on the 2nd screen of the outside of Mansion Gardens in Face by walking down what looked like a path).
Why 6 dollar?
Asked a fortune teller.
your profile is a fucking bootleg sonic level
i bet even your parents dont like you
10/10 game. I played this on my CRT monitor after seeing it was locked to 4:3. It fit the experience perfectly.

If possible I would like to hire this guy to teach me how to write humorously, or to help me with a game idea I am working on.
