Steam Thing
Greetings all,
Firstly just a quick update to say: Anthology Of The Killer is coming to Steam as well, on October 8th. The Steam page is up now and you can wishlist and such there for release details although I'll also post a little note here when the time comes.
If you already bought the game on Itch then I'm happy to say you'll get a free Steam key as well. To access it go to your itch.io library and hit the "Download" button for Anthology Of The Killer. You will not be able to play the Steam version until the Oct 8th release there so might not be able to activate the key before then, but it's worth keeping in mind in case you felt under an obligation to double dip.
(there might not always be Steam keys available in future due to legal stuff with selling Steam keys at different prices, but it should at least cover everyone up to launch and a bit beyond).
It's been a while since I drew BB so I worried she'd come out off model, but it was fun playing with Doodle Studio for the first time in a while. Please enjoy this picture on the dangers of steam as a concept, and enjoy frightening yourself in the lead up to the month of ghouls.

Is there no more steam keys? I don't see the prompt for the key, but I just bought it today, does it take time to show up?
There's definitely some left, are you using the Itch.io client? It looks like the keys are only available if you sign in for the browser version of itch and then look at your library there

That's odd, I've tried it now and it shows up but only on the test copy I purchased myself - it doesn't seem to work for copies granted as a key, in case that's how you got it. If you mail me at stephengillmurphyty at hotmail dot com I'll manually send you on a code either way.
I'm definitely buying this D1! Been waiting for it to come to steam for awhile now.
Hi Stephen, I had the game installed already, updated it but no key. Then I tried uninstalling it and installing it again but also no key. There is not really an option to just Download the game. In my library, when I uninstall it, there is only the option to install it again. I Also tried looking into the folder for any files with the key but didn't find it. Sorry if I'm being stupid, but is there a video tutorial on how to do it? thanks
Hi there, no problem - it sounds like you're using the itch.io launcher, so you might need to sign into the web browser instead. On the web browser if you log in and select your account at the top right, then go to "My Library", "Things You Own" and then hit the red download button on the game. It should take you to a page with three builds available and beneath that is a button that says "Get Steam Key".
Again, I don't think you'll actually be able to play it on Steam until it launches there on Oct 8th but it sounds like other people have been able to activate it in advance!

Seriously though $6 is way too cheap for all this. I'd really consider upping it even just to $10, I think everyone would be fine with that.
